United Veterans of America PAC

A 527 POLITICAL ORGANIZATION

The United Veterans of America PAC, an initiative of AVSC 2023 PAC, is a non-partisan political organization(not a charity) established and regulated under section 527 of the tax code. We need your help in advocating for the election of more Candidates that have served our Country and support the efforts of our Veterans

Partisanship has deeply divided our country,

and veteran representation in Congress has dwindled to near-record lows.

Let's Make a Difference!

For over a decade, the VA healthcare system has struggled with underfunding, preventing it from delivering timely care to all veterans in need. Our PAC advocates for the complete removal of the 40-mile distance rule, which currently denies millions of our nation's heroes the access to care they deserve. We actively support the election of candidates who back this initiative. Many veterans hesitate to seek outside care out of fear of unaffordable bills. Our heroes should not be subjected to such treatment!

CONTRIBUTIONS ARE NOT TAX DEDUCTIBLE

Many of our veterans are also being denied access to cutting-edge medications, forced instead to rely on a generic list made up of non-name brand drugs—many of which were selected simply because they were the lowest bidders. If a veteran's provider determines that a specific medication is necessary, a Washington bureaucrat should not have the power to overrule that decision. These choices should be made between the veteran and their provider. It's time for all Americans and elected officials to show our heroes the respect and appreciation they deserve!

The decline of Veterans in Congress has fallen at an alarming rate.

We advocate for increased funding for the VA Aid and Attendance Program. While significant progress has been made in reducing backlogs across the VA system, this vital program remains neglected. Many veterans' spouses rely on these funds to hire in-home support, allowing our nation's heroes to avoid institutionalized care.

We support candidates who are committed to increasing the number of local Veterans Service Officers (VSOs). These VSOs play a critical role in navigating the complex VA system, ensuring that our veterans receive the benefits they deserve.

We also call for more funding to be earmarked for the VA to provide transportation to and from medical appointments. Many veterans live miles away from their local VA hospital and lack the necessary support system to travel to and from these facilities.

Moreover, we advocate for increased support for emergency housing for veterans. Too many of our nation's veterans live paycheck to paycheck, and a sudden financial crisis can quickly leave them homeless. The United Veterans of America PAC firmly believes there is no excuse for any of our heroes to be without a place to call home.

We need to see more Veterans being represented in Congress
